With training camp on the horizon, the Philadelphia 76ers are finally turning up their GM search. Three candidates were (or are going to be) interviewed this week, with Gersson Rosas, Justin Zanik and Larry Harris all on the docket.
Next week, according to the The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Sixers will begin interviewing internal candidates –Marc Eversley, Ned Cohen, Alex Rucker and Elton Brand. All four received promotions on Aug. 27.
Throughout the offseason, we’ve heard that the Sixers want to maintain their front office’s collaborative environment. An inclusive approach to decision making is something they’ve been stressing in interviews as well — something that turned David Griffin away earlier this summer, according to Keith Pompey.
