With the NBA playoffs in sights, the Philadelphia 76ers can’t afford any distractions. That doesn’t mean that they should be blind to events occurring throughout the rest of the NBA. One change that the 76ers should keep an eye on is the Washington Wizards firing their president Ernie Grunfeld. While this may seem unimportant to the Sixers, this could be beneficial to Philly during the offseason.
Probably the most obvious of Grunfeld’s firing is the possibility of adding him into the Sixers front office. Grunfeld failed to build a team that can contend in the playoffs on a regular basis.
