Dead last in points per game, offensive rating, expected win-loss, and 24th in opponents points per game, there hasn’t been a lot to cheer about as far as the Philadelphia 76ers go statistically. Their best three point shooter since letting Christian Wood go is Hollis Thompson, who fails to touch 40%. They rank 29th in the league in field goal percentage, and have proven that they are not a good team by any means.
It’s hard to find anything about this team that jumps out and says, this is what the 76ers do right, but after some fiddling around with Basketball References Play Indexes, I think I may have come up with something: their blocking.
