Philadelphia 76ers: Boban Marjanovic avoids major knee injury

In the midst of a late-fourth quarter collapse Monday night, the breaths of Philadelphia 76ers fans were collectively held. Boban Marjanovic, the 7-foot-3 center and source of all things good and pure, went down in pain after having his knee rolled on by Pelicans big Cheick Diallo.

Boban was eventually helped off the floor, with James Ennis and Amir Johnson guiding him to the locker room. Brett Brown expressed concern after the game, noting the big man’s importance to the Sixers’ program.

After receiving an MRI this morning, however, it appears Boban avoided the worst-case scenario.
