After dysfunction with his former group, Butler continues to develop a strong rapport early with his Sixers teammates. T.J. McConnell loves him, Joel Embiid praises his effort, and Ben Simmons is quickly becoming Butler’s partner-in-crime.
In Friday’s blowout win over Washington, both Butler and Simmons broke out headbands. Brett Brown later called them “defensive brothers,” saying Butler has taken the reigning Rookie of the Year under his wing on that end.
