Good news for the Philadelphia 76ers and their fans, head coach Brett Brown’s job is safe for the time being. This news came in light of the Sixers second round exit from the playoffs. Yet despite his job being safe, there are still three things that Brown will have to improve upon next season in order to keep his job for the long term.
Obviously Ben Simmons’ lack of significant progress on his jump shot isn’t completely on Brown. Simmons had a whole year plus before he made his NBA debut to work on his outside jumper. Yet since after being drafted three years ago and two full NBA seasons, Simmons is nowhere close to having an outside game.
