Following consecutive losses to Brooklyn and Indiana, the Philadelphia 76ers got a much-needed win Sunday afternoon. Avoiding another inexplicable upset, the Sixers rode a strong second half to a 128-105 victory over the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers.
It was mostly positive, with Jimmy Butler returning, Ben Simmons notching a triple-double, and Joel Embiid scoring an efficient 24 points. But the Sixers did show some very real flaws — flaws that continue to plague them, regardless of competition level.
At 20-11, the Sixers are fourth in the East, leading the Boston Celtics by just one game.
