Philadelphia 76ers: 3 players with the most to prove in training camp

September is here, which means meaningful basketball is coming soon (sorry, FIBA World Cup), with training camp coming early next month, it’s time to evaluate the three players that need to stand out this camp and prove their value on the Philadelphia 76ers.

No. 1: Furkan Korkmaz

Philadelphia’s third first-round draft pick in 2016, Furkan Korkmaz hasn’t impressed with his on-court production, averaging only 4.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists while shooting 32 percent from three in his 62 career games so far.

Despite his lack of production, Korkmaz has voiced complaints about his lack of playing time before, even to the point of him asking to be traded last October.
