Romeo Langford was one of my favorite prospects before the 2018-19 season. He stood out in high school, flashing elite scoring instincts and one of the most fluid offensive games in his class. He popped both live and on-screen at the McDonald’s All-American game and he began the season top-six on my draft board.
His stock has since cooled, but Langford remains a lottery-level talent in a shallow 2019 NBA Draft. He shouldn’t drop past Orlando at 16, but there’s a chance — however slight it might be — teams make a mistake and pass on his tantalizing potential.
