Philadelphia 76ers president Bryan Colangelo inherited a team with plenty of assets but few decision points in the 2016 off-season. He started with a team with a 10 win 72 loss record, so changes were inevitable.
Colangelo also inherited three first round draft picks (missing out on the Los Angeles Lakers first round top-three protected pick). That includes the top overall pick from the draft. He picked up the option on Hollis Thompson, extending his rookie contract for a year. But he allowed Christian Wood, Ish Smith and Isaiah Canaan to find new teams.
