What would the arrival of a new Sixer be without an injury scare? An MRI earlier this week revealed that Paul George suffered a bone bruise when he hyperextended his knee in the Sixers’ preseason game against the Hawks on Monday, fortunately avoiding any torn ligaments or serious injury.

He’ll be reevaluated next week, and thankfully shouldn’t be sidelined for long.

The latest update is from the man himself, as George shared how he’s doing on his podcast.
