What a vicious cycle this team has stumbled into.
After just a 42 second shift in the middle of the second quarter, Paul George left the game in Chicago Saturday night and was later ruled out with what the team has called a “left fifth finger injury.” Apparently “the pinky” is not an official medical term.
It was pretty tough to catch, as this happened right around the same time that Tyrese Maxey got into a verbal altercation with a fan (eventually leading to that fan’s removal). The play in question with George, though, appeared to happened when he was fighting for a rebound with the Bulls’ Nik Vucevic.
