Pat Croce was minority owner and president of the 76ers from 1996 through 2001, the year they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games during the NBA finals. He still has a passion for the team and likes the direction the Sixers are taking after a three-year record of 47-199.
"I am excited about the current Sixers because there is hope," Croce said Tuesday afternoon after he addressed the Temple football team.
Croce says that no matter where he travels, people talk to him about the Sixers and he says he has taken a lot of grief.
