WASHINGTON – Jahlil Okafor and Hollis Thompson will miss Monday night’s game against the Washington Wizards.
Okafor, the 76ers rookie power forward, suffered a bruised right shin while bumping knees with teammate Isaiah Canaan in Sunday’s loss to the Orlando Magic. Meanwhile, Thompson, a reserve guard was also sidelined that game with an upper respiratory infection.
The 6-foot-11 Okafor averages 17.5 points and 7.0 rebounds. Thompson averages 8.9 points and is shooting a team-best 38.9 percent on three-pointers.
