ATLANTA – Nerlens Noel will miss his second consecutive when the 76ers face the Atlanta Hawks at Philip Arena on Wednesday.
The power forward had already missed Monday’s setback at the Chicago Bulls with a left-eye corneal abrasion. He suffered the injury in the their quarter of Sunday's loss at the Toronto Raptors while being elbowed by Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry. He was taken to an area hospital.
"Looking at light bothers him," coach Brett Brown said before Monday’s game.
Noel is averaging 9.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.0 block.
