We’re officially in the lull of the NBA calendar that is late August with players wrapping up their respective offseasons of training and scrimmaging. Several trainers and programs run scrimmages, but none are more famous than the Rico Hines Runs of the West Coast which bring out big name players.
Rico Hines, who is an assistant coach under Nick Nurse, has an annual tradition of bringing out a collective group of talent; ranging from big names such as Paul George or James Harden to players trying to make a roster. We’ve seen several tapes drop over the past month or so, with the latest heavily featuring the Sixers’ bench players.
