While Nerlens Noel didn’t win Rookie of the Year, the flat topped center was a sure thing to make the NBA All-Rookie teams. The results for these teams came out a little while ago and it’s no surprise, but Noel made the 2014-15 NBA All-Rookie First Team:
Noel received 125 first-place votes and two second-place votes, giving him 252 total votes, only behind the Bulls Nikola Mirotia and Timberwolves Andrew Wiggins. That means five media members didn’t give Noel first-place votes and three media members left Noel off their ballots entirely, which is a disgrace in itself.
