For a moment, it seemed Richaun Holmes might have found his way back into the Sixers big man rotation after toiling on the bench for a six-game stretch.
Against the Pistons on Jan. 5 and Celtics on Jan. 11, Holmes played 20 and 17 minutes, respectively. He didn't do much -- he grabbed 11 rebounds but only scored two points total in the two games.
Then, Holmes came down with a form of stomach flu and missed the next two games.
Now Holmes has been healthy for the past two games, sources told NJ Advance Media, but Sixers coach Brett Brown has kept Holmes on the bench anyway.
