PHILADELPHIA — As recently as January, the Sixers were still talking about their stated of goal of simply making the post-season.
Saturday, three months later, the Sixers were the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference, and played like it for their first playoff game in six years.
The Sixers beat the No. 6-seeded Heat 130-103 in a laugher at Wells Fargo Center, taking an early 1-0 series edge. Game 2 comes Monday night at 8 p.m.
