The Sixers will once again find themselves sweating out the NBA Draft Lottery, this time around looking to land a top selection in order to land a guard to help balance the roster and aid in the development of a young core that includes Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Dario Saric.
According to Chad Ford of ESPN, that is exactly what the Sixers will be able to accomplish on draft night:
I don't think anyone expected the Sixers to lose Ben Simmons for the full season and Joel Embiid for about half the season and still win 30 games -- but that's the pace they're on.
