Of all places to be in the world on Tuesday morning, NBA star/turned humanitarian Dikembe Mutombo was at Brussels Airport during the suicide bomb attack.
Mutombo felt blessed to walk away unharmed on a day Islamic State terrorists claimed responsibility for killing 30 people and injuring another 230 or so in Belgium's capital during airport and metro train attacks.
The 7-foot-2 Mutombo announced his presence at the scene — and that he had escaped injury — on Facebook.
"I am fine," the 49-year-old Congo native wrote. "God is good. I am in Brussels Airport with this craziness.
