NBA Draft 2016: Seton Hall's Isaiah Whitehead drafted 42nd by Brooklyn Nets

NEW YORK — Before starring at Seton Hall, Isaiah Whitehead made a name for himself at Abraham Lincoln High School. Miles away where he took the New York basketball scene by storm, the Brooklyn native's NBA dreams came to fruition on Thursday night at Barclays Center.

Whitehead, who opted to go pro after two years playing for Seton Hall, was selected in the second round by the Brooklyn Nets with the 42nd pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

The Utah Jazz traded the Brooklyn Nets the 42nd pick for the 55th pick in the draft plus cash considerations.
