HYATTSVILLE, Md. — Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Markelle Fultz will stand up after NBA commissioner Adam Silver announces that the 76ers have taken the Washington point guard first in the NBA draft.
Fultz will then embrace his mother, Ebony; older sister, Shauntese; and his trainer/mentor/former AAU coach Keith Williams, in no particular order. Folks will see his stylish grey suit with red and blue accessories, and assume it’s for the Sixers.

Thursday night’s color scheme is a way to acknowledge his experience at DeMatha Catholic High School.
