To say it was a busy night for Markelle Fultz is an understatement.
After being selected with the first pick in last night’s NBA draft, the Washington point guard got a taste of what life is like in the spotlight after being mercilessly mocked for sharing an Instagram ad promoting Swiss luxury watch company Tissot.
The sponsorship itself wasn’t the problem (although the photo featuring Fultz sporting two watches was funny), but whoever shared the image didn’t update the template that had Fultz saying he was “excited to head to (City) to join (team name).
