The 76ers sent rookie Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot back down to the Delaware 87ers, their NBA Development League team, on Tuesday.
The swingman will be with the team to play in Tuesday night’s game against the Grand Rapids Drive at Bob Carpenter Center. This will mark his third stint with the D-League team.
He first went down there on Nov. 15 to practice with the Sevens. Then he was sent down to play against the Greensboro Swarm on Nov. 21. He finished with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 116-111 victory at Carpenter.
Playing with the Sevens provides Luwawu-Cabarrot playing time he isn’t receiving with the Sixers.
