Last March, I got the crazy idea to create a Liberty Ballers basketball team to enter in The Basketball Tournament, a winner-take-all, $1 million bracket style competition. The only issue was, I had zero players. By July, the Liberty Ballers squad magically morphed into an eight man roster comprised of local professional basketball players good enough to make a run to TBT's Sweet 17.
Last year's experience was incredible, and with the tournament's return, as well as an increase in prize money to $2 million, we wants back in.
