Daryl Morey had plenty of interesting things to say at his end-of-season presser last month. Most notably, he made it clear that the new CBA would not scare him away from going star hunting this summer.
Though it seemed clear that Morey’s main goal was in fact to add a third star that complemented Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, he also had a noteworthy quote about his vision for team building. There are certainly commonalities for teams that have success, but that doesn’t mean you need to follow all of them.
“I’ve been around quite a bit,” Morey said.
