In retrospect, Shaq says that he was just being typical jokester Shaq claiming LSU "paid him very well" during his college years.
The accusation came out of the blue Monday night while NBA great Shaquille O'Neal was at Staples Center in Los Angeles participating in the 12th annual Lakers All-Access event.
While doing a Q & A in front of an audience, emcee Bill MacDonald brought up Shaq's college years with a statement that made partial sense:
"I know LSU meant a lot to you in Dale Brown."
Shaq's response, which was reported by insidesocal.
