The chances of that happening are slim, but don’t tell JoJo. The Sixers’ first-time All-Star took it upon himself to recuit the Greek Freak, who happened to be sharing frontcourt duties on Team Curry.
Giannis is on contract through 2021 and these comments don’t typically mean much, but it’s good to see Embiid getting out and chatting it up around other stars. Embiid’s personality shines on just about every stage, and there’s no better example of that than him telling an arguable top-five player that he needs to trust the process.
