Update, 9:45 p.m.: Joel Embiid is officially listed as out with a “suspension” designation for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers. The All-Star center will also miss Friday’s road game against the Los Angeles Lakers and Sunday’s return home against the Charlotte Hornets.
Embiid will be eligible to make his season debut next Tuesday, Nov. 12, against the New York Knicks in the Sixers’ first group play game for the Emirates NBA Cup.
Sixers star center Joel Embiid has been suspended three games following his physical altercation with Inquirer columnist Marcus Hayes this past Saturday, the NBA announced Tuesday.
