The NBA released their annual All-NBA teams, with most selections matching expectations. LeBron James and James Harden were unanimously selected to the first team, while Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is listed as the second team center.
Anthony Davis, who is an MVP finalist alongside James and Harden, took the center spot on the first team — a reasonable selection. Some thought he might be voted on as a forward, thus opening up a slot for Embiid, but that was always a fringe possibility.
With All-NBA Second Team under his belt, Embiid seems primed for years of repeated All-NBA honors.
