The Sixers have submitted their initial injury report for Friday’s game against the Orlando Magic and as it has been all season, it was littered with centers. Despite Nick Nurse saying postgame Wednesday there’s a chance Joel Embiid could play Friday, he has been ruled out due to left knee injury management.
That will be seven straight games Embiid has missed since swelling in the knee became a problem after a Nov. 20 matchup against the Grizzlies. Despite that, the team is still adamant that he is day-to-day.
On top of that saga having no end in sight, Philly will be down another reserve big man on Friday as well.
