Jimmy Butler out vs. Cleveland for planned rest; but Boban Marjanović will be available

Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for Tuesday’s contest when the Sixers (42-25) will host the Cleveland Cavaliers (16-50). Boban Marjanoviu0107, who has missed the last 6 games with a knee sprain will be available.

It was not specified if there was a specific issue that requires maintenance regarding Butler but the update courtesy of Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia says it’s for “planned rest” and that James Ennis will start in his place:

While the team will miss Butler’s talent, the Cavs don’t usually present much of a challenge. The Cavs are in contention for Duke phenom Zion Williamson and busy chasing ping pong balls, although they did upset the Sixers back in November of last year in Philadelphia so they should not be taken lightly.
