Jaren Jackson Jr.’s potential fit with the Sixers

Entering this season, a group of big men were heralded as the crown jewels of the 2018 draft class. Marvin Bagley III, DeAndre Ayton, and Mo Bamba all looked to have superstar upside at the next level.

Meanwhile, Michigan State’s Jaren Jackson, Jr. was ranked eighth among incoming freshmen by 247 Sports, as he wasn’t seen to have the same upside as the top three bigs.

Now 16 games into the 2017-18 season, Jackson is proving he belongs with that elite group of bigs. At 6-foot-11, 235 pounds with a 7-foot-4 wingspan, Jackson possesses a powerful frame, but still moves well for his size.
