The Sixers announced Saturday afternoon that Jared McCain suffered a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee Friday, and that he will undergo surgery and will be out indefinitely. The team confirmed this news after it was broken by Jake Fischer of the Stein Line.
McCain informed the team of soreness following the 121-107 loss to the Indiana Pacers. He underwent an MRI the following morning where the tear was revealed.
