Maybe I’m just missing something. It has, after all, been known to happen.
It sounds like a great many folks in these parts think the Sixers have three process parts in place going forward: Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Dario Saric. With another about to join in the upcoming draft, as long as that asset doesn’t turn into another Jahlil Okafor.
Now unless I’m mistaken — and I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on TV — Embiid had his one season at Kansas cut short by a stress fracture in his back. He then missed his first season with the Sixers with a broken foot, which would keep sidelined for his second season in the NBA as well.
