Hornets hand Sixers their 10th straight loss

After the 76ers tied an NBA futility mark by losing 18 games to start the season, a 10-game skid might not seem like much. It also might seem like an insignificant number for the players who lived through that nightmarish start and another 12-game skid.

But the Sixers are on their third double-digit skid after a 119-99 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Center. The Sixers (8-53) have lost 10 straight and 14 of their last 15 games. Their last victory was a 103-98 decision over the Brooklyn Nets on Feb. 6.

Meanwhile, the Hornets (32-28) have won back-to-back games and eight of 10 matchups.
