GALLOWAY, N.J. – Richaun Holmes injured his ankle Wednesday midway through the 76ers' morning training camp session and didn’t return. The rookie power forward will be held out of the evening practice.
“I doubt if we will see him tomorrow,” Sixers coach Brett Brown said. “ … He will probably be out for 24 hours at least.”
The coach said Holmes did not sprain the ankle.
“It’s a little bit more going on at the base on the Achilles that I’m going to learn more about later,” Brown said.
This is Holmes' second injury since being the 37th overall pick in June’s NBA draft.
