Holmes having solid summer league

SALT LAKE CITY – While Jahlil Okafor is the unmistaken headliner of the 76ers draft class, Richaun Holmes could prove to be a valued addition.

The 37th overall pick out of Bowling Green has been impressive in the Sixers’ first two Utah Jazz Summer League games.

He is averaging 11 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in a reserve role for the Sixers (1-1). The 6-foot-8, 248-pound power forward has also been clutch from the line, making a combined 4 of 5 foul shots.

“He just believes in himself,” said Sixers assistant coach Billy Lange, who’s coaching the summer-league team.
