No surprise here. The 76ers reassigned Richaun Holmes to the Delaware 87ers on Saturday morning.
The move is so the fourth-string center can play in theit NBA Development League affiliate's Saturday evening game at the Westchester Knicks. The Sixers are in New York for Sunday's game at the Brooklyn Nets.
Holmes was originally sent down to the Sevens on Wednesday as a way to play in three D-League games. But he was recalled after one game due Joel Embiid having gastroenteritis.
