Hayes: Kobe is still Phil Jackson's biggest fan

What should Knicks president Phil Jackson have in common with presidential candidate Donald Trump?

Endorsement remorse.

Regardless of your politics it seems clear that, as Trump’s campaign has gathered steam, it has received support from voices that might ultimately do it disservice: Chris Christie, Sarah Palin, David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan.

Certainly, Kobe Bryant isn’t as polarizing as a white supremacist. However, like Caribou Barbie and the Jersey Cowboy, Bryant is not exactly universally beloved or respected.

Bryant on Sunday came to the defense of Jackson’s hitherto disastrous stint as the $60 million Zen GM of the Knicks.
