Former Delaware State post player Kendall Gray and former Arizona point guard T.J. McConnell are working out for the 76ers on Friday.
Gray and Alan Williams of UC Santa Barbara were the NCAA Division I rebounding co-leaders (11.8 per game) in the NCAA Division I. The 6-foot-9, 240-pound Gray also averaged 11.7 points, 2.8 blocks and 1 assist en route to being named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference player of the year.
The senior’s highlight came on a 33-point, 30-rebound performance in a 104-92 victory over Coppin State on March 5. It was the third time since 2000 and first since 2005 that a college player grabbed at least 30 boards in a game.
