That was a cheap shot, plain and simple. And Goran Dragic should have been thrown out of the game immediately. Instead, the refs called a technical foul – not even a flagrant foul. That’s not nearly enough.
It was clearly a flagrant foul and it was not even on a basketball play. It was a hard slap to the back of Simmons’ head – after the play was over. It’s how fistfights start. And the refs blew it.
