Center Jahlil Okafor did not see action for the second consecutive game.
Henderson knows what the third overall pick in the 2015 draft is going through. As a rookie during the 2009-10 season, Henderson played in only 43 of 82 regular-season games with Charlotte. He averaged just 8.3 minutes with zero starts.
"He's a star," Henderson said of Okafor. "He wants to play. I've been there."
Henderson gave some advice on the best way for his close friend to deal with the situation. He said Okafor should want to play, which Okafor does. Henderson added that players shouldn't use their being out of the rotation in a negative.
