Furkan Korkmaz undergoes surgery; Boban Marjanović avoids serious injury, will be re-evaluated

The Sixers provided some updates on injured players Furkan Korkmaz and Boban Marjanoviu0107.

Korkmaz went under the knife today to address his torn meniscus. It sounds like there were no complications, so hopefully the 26th pick in the 2016 NBA draft makes as speedy a recover as possible.

As for Boban, the team is saying the MRI on his right knee came back negative which is great news and he just has a bone bruise and mild sprain. The 30 year old 4th year reserve center out of Serbia will be re-evaluated in 5-7 days.

This leaves the Sixers short-handed at the center position for upcoming games against the Warriors, Thunder, Magic, Bulls and Rockets.
