Full-ish-strength Sixers back home to face Spurs

This past weekend of Sixers basketball went about how we would have expected. With all three stars available on Friday, Philadelphia took care of Charlotte without much fuss for approximately the 18th time this season. Then, with Embiid sitting as the Sixers hit the road to Cleveland on the second night of a back-to-back, the NBA-best Cavaliers gave Nick Nurse’s squad the business in a blowout defeat for Philadelphia.

The Sixers are now 9-17, which, yeah, still isn’t great, but it’s much better than where they were. Philadelphia is starting to at least creep into Play-In Tournament territory and the team’s record is quite respectable when at least two members of the newly assembled Big 3 unite on a given night.
