Embiid's first 10 games match up well with all-time greats

Joel Embiid is having a magical start to the start to the season.

The 76ers rookie is doing things statistically that Hall of Famers Shaquille O'Neal, David Robinson and Hakeen Olajuwon and former first overall pick Kenyon Martin did during their rookie campaign.

Embiid is the sixth player since the 1983-84 season to average 18.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks through his first 10 games. O'Neal was the last person to accomplish that feat during the 1992-93 campaign with the Orlando Magic. Hall of Famers Ralph Sampson (1983-84), Olajuwon (1984-85), Robinson (1989-90) and Mutombo (1991-92) are the others to do it.
