Sixers center Joel Embiid had successful foot surgery on Tuesday, according to a league source.
The source described the surgery as "all good."
The 7-footer, selected third in the 2014 draft, is expected to miss all of next season, the team announced July 11 after an Inquirer report earlier in the day. Embiid underwent a bone graft surgery similar to the one Kevin Durant had in May.
The former Kansas standout missed what would have been his rookie season after undergoing surgery in June 2014 to repair a stress fracture in the navicular bone in his right foot.
