The Eagles aren't the only Philadelphia team making mid-season trades.
The Sixers agreed to acquire All-Star forward Jimmy Butler, along with forward Justin Patton, from the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal will send forwards Robert Covington and Dario Saric, guard Jerryd Bayless and 2022 second-round pick to Minnesota.
In 10 games with the Timberwolves this season, Butler averaged 21.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
The Marquette alum is a four-time All-Star and a two-time NBA All-Defense second-team selection.
