Dawn Staley is a basketball lifer with accomplishments the world over. The North Philadelphia native currently serves the game as Head Coach of Team USA, and the University of South Carolina women's basketball program.
This weekend, Staley the basketball savant, had a moment to be a fan, as she applauded Maurice Cheeks, the former player and coach of the Philadelphia 76ers. He was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, accompanied by Sixers' legends Dr. J, and Billy Cunningham.
"Mo [Maurice Cheeks] was the unsung hero on my Sixers team.
